Loch Katrine
I have just uploaded two more pages, both on the subject of Loch Katrine.
One is a photo album, showing the car park at the Trossach's Pier in a series of images from the late 19th century onwards. It should appeal as much to car enthusiasts as to those who love Loch Katrine!
The other page is a history of the tourist destination, based on images I have collected.
I will also be adding, later, items from a collection of one of the regular bus drivers to the Trossachs, and the original watercolour painting by Allom of the engraving of Loch Katrine that can be found in Beattie's Scotland of 1838.
