Some Scottish Lochs: a series of pencil sketches by John Fullwood
John Fullwood (1854 - 1931) was an English artist based in the Midlands. Examples of his work can be seen at the Wolverhampton Art Gallery, and the New Art Gallery in Walsall.
This selection of 13 pencil sketches, drawn in August 1927, forms an incomplete set which originally contained at least 26 drawings. They are beautifully and delicately shaded. Fullwood signed and dated a blank page at the front of the sketch book. He appears to have been based in Oban for the August holiday.
