I was delighted to come across two caricatures, both published c.1745/6 on the theme of the Jacobite Rebellion of that time. One is by Charles Mosley, in a German version (the image above of the Young Pretender wearing a fool's crown is a detail taken from it), while the other is ascribed to George Bickham the Younger by the British Museum. It is their detailed description of these two engravings that has helped me post a page on the website titled "Jacobite Caricatures."
